Privacy Policy
How ALT TAB collects, uses, and shares data for ALT TAB Circuit Copilot and ALT TAB Cloud.

KiCad® is a registered trademark of its respective owners. ALT TAB Circuit Copilot is independent software for use with KiCad and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the KiCad project or the Linux Foundation.
1. Who we are
ALT TAB Circuit Copilot and ALT TAB Cloud are operated by ALT TAB and/or Stefan Jančić ("we"). This policy covers kicad.alttab.rs, ALT TAB Cloud accounts, and the desktop assistant when used with hosted features.
2. Data we collect

3. Payment processor
We use Paddle as merchant of record for card and wallet payments. Paddle receives billing data needed to process tax, fraud checks, and receipts. Their privacy policy applies to that processing: paddle.com/legal/privacy.
We do not sell personal data. We share data with processors necessary to run the service (Paddle, hosting, model providers for inference, and analytics as described at collection time).
4. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve ALT TAB Cloud and the ALT TAB Circuit Copilot integration.
- Operate billing, entitlements, fraud prevention, and customer support.
- Comply with law and respond to lawful requests.
5. Retention
We retain account and transaction records for at least the period required by Serbian tax and accounting rules (often multiple years). Operational logs may be kept for a shorter rolling window unless needed for security investigations. Inactive accounts may be deleted or anonymized after notice where permitted.
6. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and least-privilege access. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.
7. Your rights (GDPR, PDPA Serbia, and similar)
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us at office@alttab.rs. Where Serbian law requires information in Serbian, we will provide it upon request where applicable.
8. International transfers
Model providers and Paddle may process data outside your country. We rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) where required.
9. Changes
We may update this policy and post a new effective date on kicad.alttab.rs/privacy. Material changes to how we use personal data will be communicated as required by law.
